Karemera Family
Due to the lack of clean water in the Bumbogo Sector, Rwanda, the Karemera family had difficulties raising their cow. Grazing livestock, especially cattle, was impossible since animals lacked clean water to drink. This led to low income in many families in this community, including the Karemera family. When Global Grassroots partnered with Team Eternal Beauty, clean and safe water was brought into the community. For this reason, the Karemera family thought of grazing a dairy cow to increase the family's income and improve nutrition. As a result, the couple is now busier and happier, taking care of the cow. The family currently practices gender equity as they work together for the family's wellbeing. The couple's relationship has been improved.
